There have been overly expensive and stupid fashions for years. I worked security at a high end department store years ago. There were these $800 tank tops. They were cotton with frilly things on them. $800. Yah there were $200 jeans and multi thousand dollar dresses and all that but these tank tops. $800. Thieves regularly ran off with a stack of them in what we called a grab and run.

The modern jeans being worn by cool young people baffle me. They’re loose around the ass and skin tight around the thighs and calves. Loose around the ass in a way that’s not baggy but almost as if they’re not made for a normal shaped human. They look so uncomfortable.

I wear expensive layered jeans all the time. The extra layer happens to be an abrasion resistant technical layer for riding motorcycles in case you go down and start sliding.

They definitely do not look like this.
