...what can you tell me about them? Sound good? Well made? Expensive? Did you get a stock cab or something custom? What was the turn around?

LDS cab users...

Custom fEarful 15/6 plans, 5 weeks (1 week over estimate, but perfectly understandable), sounds amazing (better than any bass cab I have ever heard by leaps and bounds, with scads more output than anything of its weight should be capable of).
LDS cabs are entirely dependent upon what plans you choose; driver selection, box design, etc, are so variable.

While I agree, I wish to doubly reinforce: If your design is top shelf, LDS will be nothing less. Don's cabs can have the same issues as commercial bass cabs if you design them with the same flaws (or don't provide enough information to prevent him from doing things the old fashioned way).
He's an awesome guy but he has a little mad scientist streak, and so if you don't go in with a firm idea of what you want it's easy to wind up with something that doesn't match what you want. That's not to say a lot of his personal designs are not good, but you will always do better going in knowing what you're after.
Don tweaked my design for the better. Basically sealed some of the side shelf porting in the middle for a winning design sonically and a joy to cart around. I added the casters. Weighs about 48lbs 25"t x 21.5"w x 18"d, No matter how you stack it the drivers are vertical. H also rounded off all the ports and front edges. I like it. The side ports add extra "free bracing".
It has Ralph's x-over x'd over @ 1100hz I believe and tuned to 41 hz.

Don's great. Build estimate was spot on. Took about 6 weeks but I knew that going in. Asked him to build me a custom neo version of the SWR triad and wanted it to be effecient but handle a fair amount of power.
Cab is everything I wanted. Sounds like a louder punchier version of the triad but weighs about 58 lbs.
When I have some more cash I will be ordering another albeit smaller cab from Don.
He really gets excited about what he's doing and it shows in his work.

I had a LDS 15/6. Very well built cab. However, I thought the tolex looked very easy to rip. I'd go with carpet or the spray on stuff.
LDS is Topshelf all the way. I got a left behind 410 that was 2 inches shorter in the Depth than what the customer wanted Don gave me a great deal. So at 1000 watts at 8 ohms it sounds better than a lot of the high end models ( Eden, Schroeder, Epifani, Accugroove, etc ) including Sadowsky which it's modeled after. Sorry guys not trying to insult anybody but Don makes some really great stuff!
If you're in Europe look at Barefaced cabs. They are out of the UK. They look awesome, if the shipping cost wasnt so prohibitive I'd go for a barefaced.

Don makes custom cabs, so he can build you just about anything. Don also provides excellent customer service.

Actually, quite reasonable for what you get.
I opted for his "stock" 15/6.5 cab, but I don't think there's really such a thing as a "stock" LDS cab.
What was the turn around?
I think mine took about 5 weeks. He had quoted me 4 weeks, but, at the time, there was some discussion regarding the crossover.
I'm anxious to get my cabs from Don. The wait time is really off for me though. He quoted me 4-5 weeks and we're going on week #9 right now.
Not sure, I spoke with him the Friday before Thanksgiving and he was building mine that day and said he'd call me in a few days. That was a couple weeks ago but I figure with Thanksgiving and all he probably slowed down. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow. Don seems like a great guy though.
