Hello fellow Bass players. Does anyone know of a device made years ago that helped to learn bass part's, by slowing the song down to correct pitch, to pick up bass lines? Or is there anything out there today that could serve the same purpose. Thanks!

Did you mean this thing by Tascam? I have one but haven't used it for years. But I remember I thought it was good learning songs.
They now have a smaller one for MP3

I have one of those Tascam CD BT-1 units. They work ok... but do you have any CD's?
I prefer to use Transcribe!. It works flawlessly, and is periodically updated. I actually bought the software, and it's worth every penny.

I did try out the Amazing Slowdowner—way back when—and I found it to be pretty glitchy. They may have improved it by now, but back then it was pretty bad.
