Click on Forums on the top of the page, go to the section you want, Amp, Basses, Strings, whatever.TB page design is not user-friendly. Unless you post often enough, it is not crystal clear how to start a post, how to do it under specific forums...
Go to Forums and click on the specific section/sections you want to read about.I wish I could filter out "For Sale" posts.
The vast majority are US only or a few in Europe. Being all the way down under I wouldn't buy anything even if shipping was offered, it would be so expensive to ship.
Oh and the time wasting! I spend too much time reading on hereinstead of

It is easy to filter out the forums you don't want to see here, as was demonstrated earlier in the thread. I don't play double bass, so I have the entire DB forum filtered out. I also have the classifieds filtered because I have no interest in new gear right now.Click on Forums on the top of the page, go to the section you want, Amp, Basses, Strings, whatever.
Once in your chosen section under the search bar on the right is an orange bar that says, POST NEW THREAD.
Click that and have at it.
Go to Forums and click on the specific section/sections you want to read about.
There are no For Sale or anything else you do not want to read about.
Like I do not care for Effects, Recording or Pickups so I never click on them sections, I never see any of them post. Just the sections I want to read about.
Why are people not going into specific sections so they get what they want and not what they do not?
Same with clicking Amps and Cabs, or any other category, I get only that.It is easy to filter out the forums you don't want to see here, as was demonstrated earlier in the thread. I've always used the "new posts" feature on every forum that I've been a member of. You get to see everything and anything that might be of interest to you as soon as something is posted. If the title indicates it's something I'm not interested in, I just scroll past. It's not hard.

New post in Amps and Cabs go to the top of the list, those I have read are not bold signifying I am caught up in that thread and do not need to click it.
Threads I respond to go in the Watched Thread folder, again new post go to the top of the list.
When read it leaves the folder. No longer want to get alerts to said threads just hit Unwatch on the top, it is also gone from the folder.
