I am looking for opinions on a foot controller for my Stage Ape Generic 3pin LED Par cans.
I am looking for a simple 2, 3 or 4 button FOOT controller only.
I need opinions please.. Stage Ape has the Widefoot, but it is discontinued so I cannot pick one of those up..

I have an Elation FC 400 foot controller that I've used with cheaplights/stageape products, but it's only 4 channel and not particularly cheap or versatile. I actually use the foot controller that came with the FabFour/FabFour Tri stageape units I've had for some time now, and they seem to control many other DMX lights just fine (although they are dedicated 1/4" jack outputs specific to the Fabfour units, not DMX) using DMX outs and fiddling with dip switches. However, I was disappointed to see that the Fabfour units are also now discontinued, apparently. Too bad--I really like mine and hope they hold up (had them for 4 years or so now, so far so good!).

Our Stage Ape lights are 7 channel DMX. So, I would think that the Elation FC 400 would not control the lights properly. I am really just looking for a black out switch and a switch to turn on something of the strobe effect or "on" and that is about it.. Problems with Stage Ape is that they are wired pin 7 black out which the discontinued WideFoot controller from Stage Ape was made for (and discontinued)
