Alembic sells basses with LEDs already installed! I'm STILL kicking my own butt for not ordering my Alembic that way! However be sure to take your wallet. Buying an Alembic is a crazy idea unless you are independently wealthy (not me) or in love (Yep, I admit it. I saw that bass and was in love and HAD to have it!).

The stick-on LED strips various places sell are the usual solution...

Status Graphite necks can come pre-installed.
I have side led markers in mine. Love it.

I would get the glow dots from fretlord they look like a good bargain. 15 dollars for 24 stickers no batterys nothing. I might actually look into those

i have both fretFX and a status with installed LED's.

obviously the status is more flash and nicer, but from the playing position and from the audience they both do the same job, just one cost 10x more than the other.

if you dont have the install option fretFX are a great solution for you.

The 'standard' for after-market installed LED's for Basses and guitars is Sims.

I have a Sadowsky that came with LED's installed. They offered the LED's on the side of the neck, front of the neck, or both. There is a little switch near the tone knobs that turns the lights on.

Got a link? I'm pretty sure they dont sell necks with LEDs fitted anymore, and only do full fitting onto complete basses, because I asked whether the neck only option was still available, and was told no.
