LEH Offset Bass

Yeah. I saw one for sale and looked up the builder when I saw the price. I was impressed with everything but the headstock. It’s definitely a job stopper for me.

It says, on the LEH website "High mass headstock to prevent dead spots and make you look super cool", so the headstock was thought out. Anyways, they look great (sans headstock) and probably sound great. I wish them luck.

Literally one of the very finest builders out there. Ellis has a next-level attention to detail and execution and has few peers in that regard. If and when a P-style single-pickup passive instrument is offered, I’d be first in line.

I am not sure you have to wait: Ellis makes them custom after all :)
Shoot her an email, start a conversation, and see where it leads.

Already tried, didn’t really get a “no” but didn’t get a “yes” either. I brought it up a while ago, and it might be worth a revisit. It seems like an easy project on paper, but only one person knows how much goes into that if it’s a departure from standard offerings at LEH.
