Pulled up the Mint last night. Looks like a pretty cool place. I never heard of it before.

Menu looks good. I'll have to take the wife there (on a Thursday of course). What type of gigs due they have there?

as of right now we are the House band so its been us"The Riverside Jazz ensemble" we bring in different guests each week to play so its always a blast..

yes, they are...not like the good ole days.

I live in Chester County so it was about an hour and twenty minute drive. Worth it though - they used to stock a lot of great gear!

you are better off going to Bass specialties now way way better selection... sadly GV has lost its edge about 4-5 years ago.

Agreed! In fact I was just up there about 2 weeks ago. As you say, great selection of gear and Glenn is a great guy to deal with. It's about an hour 15 minute drive for me but well worth it!

Hey all...not actually in PA, but just over the border in Hunterdon county, NJ. I really don't know much about the music scene in Easton / Allentown / Bethlehwm area - so any info would be great about your gigs or open jams.

Howdy! I grew up on the Warren/Hunterdon border and hopped over to PA when I had to pay for my own place

What type of music/venues are you interested in? My band's just getting out and has been canvasing the area for rock venues. I have a few (check out our site for places we are playing). Riverside in Easton is doing open mics on Fridays right now. They have a small stage and I think sound.

Hey - I'm open to lots of different music, but in particular interest would be blues and rock. Living this far west of the NYC area, it can be hard to get to the jams that are east of me - but there are so many good ones. but I started thinking, there must be some other jams on the PA side of where I live...ya know?
