Lemmy on the 'bay......

Asking 5+ G's for the bass, you'd think the seller could come up with some better pics than the uninspired "bass on bed" one's posted.
Well maybe he should stick to being one of the most famous bass players in rock music and leave the designing to the professionals
I love me some Motörhead and I think Lemmy is probably the most rock and roll man on the planet, but I gotta say... I wouldn't be caught dead playing that thing.

They're rare, and they do sell for big dough. And there are a lot of Lemmy fanboys out there. $4grand is not an unreasonable expectation.
I like the way it looks a lot, though it seems very folky/country to me. The star inlays ruin it though...
Lemmys looks better for the front I think. The backs are comprable though. His have darker front then the pics of this one at least in light Ive seen his in. And actually one of the posters here has one that also looks more like lemmys do imo. I like the real ones as I'll call em. But this reissue, at least in these pics and with the extra borders on the top? Not sure. Hopefully that tb member will come along and post a pic of his. I rather like the better looking ones Ive seen like lemmys own, and the other tb'rs. Yeah the carving on the front is kinda 70's etc, but thats why he drew that. Kinda like with some of his boot decorating designs etc. Lol. Dunno if its worth as much as seller is asking though, is concidered collectors item I think.
Anyone who collects Nazi memorabilia - and he has a huge collection- is suspect to me. This Rickenbacker is not too pretty but as you will probably agree neither is Lemmy. I thought they had made far less of these- maybe 5 total not 50. At 5 grand it is a great price but I would never pay for it for one of his signature basses- it probably has too much negative chi!
Love him and his bass if you choose to though
Nobody who is familiar with Lemmy, and I mean NOBODY, believes Lemmy has sketchy political views.
