John, you should go. Anything better going on?
gkbass13 said:i saw him do kashmir and shine on in concert once....when he did "the intruder" with frog brigade it was sooo sick. i was fortunate enough to see im in burlington vermont once and it was the first time he jammed on stage with stewart copeland and trey....so crazy. he introduced trey as eddie van halen, which got a good laugh out of the burlington crowd.
) which also gave me a killer view of les! does anyone know what that antler guitar trey plays is? is it a built in theramin or something?Sane said:Was a great show, totally different then any primus show I have ever been to. That Sitar player is just amazing...

i was fortunate enough to see a string of oysterhead shows when they did that first tour. unfortunately, the shows were practically the same thing again and again with the exception of a song or two. for the nyc roseland show, i went early and positioned myself front row trey side (i may play the bass and les may be one of the most inspiring bassists to watch, but i've had many 'spiritual' experiences seeing trey play) which also gave me a killer view of les! does anyone know what that antler guitar trey plays is? is it a built in theramin or something?
in any event, thanks for the info, lesfleanut...i'll definitely try and score a ticket and head out to that show. nokia is a REALLY cool theatre inside.
