I'm thinking of ordering one from Warmoth, either that or a Fiesta red one, with a bnb neck.
Personally, I've never seen one in real life before, and I'm afraid it will appear too pink for me.

This one belongs to my daughter-in-law. It was originally black. My son refinished it for her in Burgundy Mist. The color looks a bit more "coppery" in this pic, but it's the only pic I have of it. She picked out the pickguard to go with it.

You may well be looking for something much more high-brow, but there's a well-reviewed Squier J in Burgundy Mist that you could try on for under $200.

My buddy doesn't like my pink jazz bass...so the other day he tells me to show a pic of it to a biker we know, trying to be a wise guy and make me feel stupid.

That Squier Affinity Burgundy Mist J Bass would be an amazing option as a platform for modding, as compared to a crap shoot investment starting with a Warmoth body. I do highly endorse Warmoth bodies and their finishes though. Depends on the money you want to lay out to start this.

I love a vintage (amber'd) BMM but haven't seen any of the newer versions that come close. Aging gives it a warmer hue that knocks it out of the park!

That's sexy, especially the glowing side dot inlays. I'm a true sucker for minimalistic basses.

Thanks ! It really is sweet , the Warmoth SSB's are a wee smaller so she is a sweet little thing . Sounds fantastic too . I'm very happy with the color , the gamble paid off . Cheers
