The paint is also colorshifting. It goes from green to grey to purple.

The electronics have all been re-done to passive, with Seymour Duncan 1/4 pounders, CTS pots, orange drop caps, and a switchcraft jack. Wired like a Stack Knob jazz
I straight up love this bass, best neck out of any of my basses.

Uhm.. Why does the head stock say "Bass Jazz"?

Newly refinished LTD MD-500. "Dark Highland Green " paint matches my 2001 Ford Mustang GT Bullitt. Neck was stripped and refinished with Tru-Oil. Bass is equipped with chrome Babicz bridge and Res-O-Lite tuners, SGD Sidewinder pickups, and DR Lo-Rider Nickle 100-80-60-45. Waiting to get my GK head back from the shop so I can crank it up.
