Nice, is that a squier special P/J? I had one like that about 10-12 years ago but sold it.

It's a 2000 Squire P Standard Series.

Walked into the pawn shop, killing time before I had to meet someone, and found it. I was on my motorcycle, so asked if they could hold it till the next day. (Wife had one car, son had the other)

Walked outside and, there at the stoplight, was a buddy of mine (also a bass player). Had him pull over, threw it in the back of his car and he carried it to the house for me. Then he charged me a beer for delivery....

Yep,all Reranch products. Started life as a 78 who's neck bit the dust. Found a MIM neck that I liked and madness ensued. It really looks good with the covers on it,but they get in my way.

Reranch really has great products. I have done a couple of guitars using their stuff, as long as you prep the body well and don't rush it the end result is awesome.

I have never done any refinishing before, I was a bit intimidated but after I got into it the process was really fun!

If anyone out there is considering it, I'd say start off on a mid level instrument and practice one that one first.

One bit of advice, I totally forgot about this one crucial step, TAPE UP THE NECK POCKET!!!!You only make that mistake once!
