Lets see your colored/mirror pickguards

So I have a Geddy Lee Jazz Bass (black). I just ordered a purple mirror pickguard. Black/purple are basically my band colors and i figured it might look cool. I cant wait to see what it looks like. Also, I figured it would be cool to have a thread for pics of custom picguards.

original 70's Mighty Mite chromed metal (w/tugbar and pu cover holes, only 10 holes)

Just ordered a mirrored one for my Jazz. (Just got a bound & blocked rosewood '77 neck last week - not pictured)

both my fenders are '76 (P-'75 neck, J-'77 neck)
both black and both will have mirrored pickguards soon.

Yeah, I love matching headstocks on rosewood necks, and that was the deal clincher for me. Went to the store looking for another bass, but got this instead. I think this is a keeper, so I'll slowly upgrade parts when necessary.

How come I don't see a tugbar on the P?

cos I don't tug - I pluck.

plus the bass is a player (so worn in it's ridiculous) and I'm not so concerned with period correct parts or appearances.

the wood is good enough for me. the parts? maybe someday.
