Yeah, I pluck my chickens with my fingers, too. A pick might serve better for pig picking. Lol.

On a serious note: when I do use a pick, which is rarely, I do like the feeling I get in my wrist and arm. It emulates strumming a guitar. Of course, it's not every song, but on some.
