Using lead as the outer winding of bass strings is a new technology that leaked from the D'addario labs. No surprise the strings will be sold as heavy metal Roundwounds.
...in meters (which is American spelling again, metres is British).
...and centimetres are little blue French Smurfs who live in champignons.
That was the song that Freddy Mercury wrote in French - Nous Sommes Les Champignons - later recorded in English as We Are The Champions.
En effet monsieur! They wanted to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest as a French band, but it was discovered that they weren't French.
The French were supportive of the idea, as it would have meant there would have been a good French band (this was in the days before Daft Punk) but it was the UK that said no as it didn't want France winning anything.
Queen got its name because, as any photo demonstrates, Brian May is a direct descendant of King Charles II. Queen rather than King was chosen to avoid confusion with Carole King. Technically Brian May should be king of England, and would be the first king that would own all badgers as well as all swans, which would mean no traditional Christmas meal of badger at St. Trinians.
The Badger and Swan is the pub at which Iron Maiden played their first gig. In attendance was Brian May and John Deacon; they checked out any band named for nobility or politicians. Iron Maiden of course being the little used nickname of two politicians; John Major and Harold Wilson.
John and Norma Major appeared on record on Tony Hawk (the skater guy, it wasn't the comedian Tony Hawks) in the UK chart as 'Morris Minor and the Majors' with 'Stutter Rap'. Tony Hawk is really called Morris Hawk after his father Morris Hawk senior.
The real Morris Minor originally came from Austin, didn't he?
