Let's talk about clack!

If we're talking about clack I think we should entertain some appreciative counterpoints.

Case in point. I appreciate Mike Watt's artful (punk rock artful) application string clack in his sound for this song.

'What Makes Man Start Fires?' is my favorite Minuteman album and I've always loved the way 'Bob Dylan Wrote Propaganda Songs', as the first track on the record, sets the tone and energy for whole album in about one minute and thirty seconds.



That's good 'n tangy, huh?? Top clack.
 
Depends on where the clack is. Up top it’s your action. May need to adjust your trus rod. Or a fret job, or strings, or attack. Yeah it could be a few things. I would start with attack and work on that first. Sometimes we get sloppy
