I liked the reading lessons on libster, because they worked really well, but you don't seem to have them complete (yet?)

i only found out about libster once it had dissapeared so i never got to use it, but i've heard lots of good things about it and i don't have a teacher at the moment, so it should prove very usefull

When I first was referred to Libster.com from here, it was already on its way out. It's as if it slowly degraded due to neglect.

Any idea what happened? Maybe the owner of the web site passed away? There must be a way to get in contact with the owner. I can't see how anyone would let all that precious information just vanish.

Oops, i just noticed that this is also in the list of links you have on your copy of libster. BTW I just noticed that I have a copy of the libster reading lessons with all exercises etc.!! and some other libster files

hehe - That's it. I went to the root of that site and downloaded every file. Since I don't have FTP access or anything, the only way I knew how to do it for sure was, R-Click, Save As, Download... on each file. Let's just say it took a while.

The holidays have been really nuts for me, so I have been taking a lot longer that I wanted to. The design of the libster site is also really wacky. I am going to have to do a lot of reorganizing to make it all make sense. But I am slowly getting it done.

After I reformat all that I have, then I will setup a way to submit your suggestions, transcriptions, etc etc... And hopefully it will grow and stay fresh.

I will not be adding a forum or chat prgram or anything... because that's what talkbass is for.

Also, There will be A LOT of broken links today. I am starting to reorganize the libster stuff into logical directories instead of having 95% of it all in the root dir.

Hopefully I will have that cleaned up this evening and maybe even the stuff localhost gave me uploaded too.

Hi all,

I got the Lessons part of libster/learnbass.tk up and running. I've removed all the broken links and fixed the images & midi/wav files. If you find one that I missed, pls PM me & I'll fix it right away.

Right now I'm working on the transcriptions section. I'll post an update when I get that one up too.
