Life is gooooood.

Went to the local Music Go Round with some money to spend. Ended up finding a Peavey Mark III head for $150 :bassist:

That is now on layaway, should be picked up next Saturday or earlier. Next Saturday I get an Ampeg 410 cabinet as well, so that will make up my first non-combo bass rig! :hyper:

Hopefully the Peavey and Ampeg will sound good together. Updates to come as soon as I test it out :D

Older Peavey (and Hartke) heads IMO are incredibly underrated (as are old Peavey cabs).

The Mark III will sound great with the Ampeg cab!

Agreed on all of the above - if you get a chance to grab a Mark VI for under $200 sometime, jump on it - IMO, they're Peavey's best sounding amp - and I've pretty much owned them all... Best buys on Peavey cabs are their 215D-BW and 410TX - both can be picked up dirt cheap, and both are good cabs...

I used to have a PEAVEY HEAD, here's a photo of my head with the first wife. She got the house and MY HEAD. I prefer the Vader look anyway.. BOB
