Double Bass Light weight bass bag with back pack straps

truckplayer - where do you set the over/under for what constitutes "light weight"? Just curious.

I have a thick bag which is protective of my bass. So I was looking at something that was thinner/less bulky.

Those are bad cases. They may have changed the design, but I had one back in the late 90s. The handles are riveted on. Eventually the handles wore through the lining of the case and left deep scratches in the ribs of my pre-war Epiphone bass. I'm still a little angry about that. I threw the bag in the trash.

They have changed. The rivets you describe are not part of my bag (purchased in 2022).
