Lightweight 15" cab that isn't a backbreaker?

What's the budget?
I quite liked GK NEO 115, I borrowed and played it couple of times. It was easy to move (40 lbs. /18 kg), defined and loud.

I use 2 Fender Rumble 115 cabs, they're 39lbs each, and come with casters.

Only rated at 300w each though.

The Quilter BB800 is rated as follows:
Power Output: 450 watts-8 ohms, 800-watts-4 ohms

There probably aren't that many single speaker cabinets that can handle that much power.

Agree with the GK Neo IV, Genzler BA, & RevSound RS115 and would add the Genzler NC-115T at 37 lbs.

At 51.6 lbs, $679, I’m real happy with the Hartke Hydrive 15”. 500 watts RMS @ 8ohms. It’d match perfect with your Quilter.

Barefaced, look into the models if you consider them, ask Alex, go to the club owners area etc.
If not, my second would be any 15' Markbass, but still would say Bareface first for compact small light cabs that are LOUD!

Recently picked up a lightly used GR AT 115, it weighs slightly over 20 pounds. I was skeptical until I plugged it in. Sounds like it weighs MUCH more - thick, deep lows and low mids, crisp highs with (defeatable) tweeter. Terrific cab, albeit a bit pricey new.

Mesa Subway 115 for the win. It’ll blow your socks off… if you want it to. Most definitely NOT an “old school” sounding 15. Crisp. Lively. Tons of midrange clarity with well supported low end. 400 watts, 8 ohms.

Of course, it’ll do whatever you want it to with eq. Wish I had 2.

The Bag End S-15D is pretty unique among 15s.
The woofer is a classic heavy ceramic magnet, but the small open back cab keeps it under 50#.
