I would be very concerned about a 115 cab and powering it with an 800 watt amp, as most 115 cabs are not RMS rated for that kind of wattage. If you find an 8 ohm cab the amp output wattage should drop, you still need to verify what the amps output will be when it sees an 8 ohm load. Then make sure your cab’s RMS rating is not less than that.
Powering a cab with more wattage that a cab’s RMS rating could lead to speaker failure and in that event, possibly ruin your amp as well. And I wouldn’t; put too much credence to the wives tale that you will alway hear if farting when a speaker is starting to fail and you will have time to turn the volume down.
