Hi there,
I'm looking for a light weight Cab that would pair well with a GK 800RB. I converted my old Crate BFX100 into a Cab when the head went out, picked up the GK and have been using that as the head ever since. While the tone of the sound of the 115 is okay it weighs in at 50+ lbs. I don't know exactly because we took the amp head out (It weighed 67lbs with the case amp in there) but it is still large and rather obnoxious to lug around. I practice out every week in a Rock/Jam band play the local bar (100-250 people if were lucky), once a month or so, so it'll be moved around a lot hence why I'd prefer it to be lighter, sub 40lbs, if possible. I've moved that Crate around for 10 years before the head blew and that got old pretty quick, 5 years later and I'm still lugging it around, mostly cause I've been a "use it til it's done" kind of a guy. I'm at a stage of analysis paralysis and thought I'd consult the oracle. Budget is Sub $300. if possible. Thoughts?

Revsound 25 lb $525 1x15, will need a heavy cover since you'll be always moving it around. That old tank, toss it in the back of a pickup days are gone.

Sorry, $300 budget won't get you there with loud, low and light.

Ill checkcthose out, thanks very much.
Makes sense about the rarity of the sub $300 range. How about sub $500. That's really as high as I want to go as I'm not exactly getting rich off this gig. I'd like to keep the 115 cab I have at home but have something I can practice/gig with. Looking at reverb I saw some spectrum:
Lower end/consumer grade(?):
Ashdown ABMmini115 (350w/8ohm/35#) $319
Mid:
Fender Rumble 115 (300-600w/8ohm/39#) $299
or at the top end weight wise
Ampeg PF115 (400w/8ohm/50#) $299
Any thoughts on these?
