Lightweight cabs for medium sized venues

I know you're States-side, but take a look at the Barefaced range, particularly the Super 12 and the Big Twin models, I have the Big Twin T, weighs 35Kg and is plenty loud enough for medium gigs. 2x12 and 1x6 with an HF horn.

Well I am not States-side.Unfortunately for some reasons
I live in Europe, Greece actually.
So it is difficult for me to either contact Lowdownsound.com mentioned earlier or have to some cabs that can be obtained only in the US.
The thing is I rely mostly is my intuition and to your comments cause the cabs i wanna have are not available in any stores here. As for the 35 kgs, i think that's a lot for a weekend cab. My max weight should be around 22kgs max.That's why i am mostly inclined to the Tc Electronics Rs212 or a MarK Bass cab.Those i can afford and i can obtain (online order) but unfortunately i cannot try them before buy them. I wish my cab (4x10 Ebs Classic) had a 2x12 version. I would knew exactly the sound i would get out of my rig

FWIW, Barefaced is in the UK, and is available pretty much worldwide. They have a flat shipping fee that covers all of Europe.

The weight given was wrong (website puts Big Twin at 25kg), but you also can't compare them directly to that TC or a similar MB. The equivalent in SPL would be the Big Baby, which weighs 16kg. The equivalent in physical size would probably be the Super Twelve, at 18kg. Still lighter than the TC, and you'd probably need two of the TC cabs to keep up with one. They do cost more... obviously they deliver a lot more sound in a much lighter/smaller package. Worth looking at if you truly want lightweight cabs.

Here are some more cabs like many have mentioned, that are all available in the UK and ship anywhere in Europe:

Speakerbuilder - A Greenboy Designs authorized builder... fEARful (12/6, 15/6, etc), fEARless (F112, F115, etc), Bassic, Dually, etc. They do complete finished cabs, empty cabs ready for drivers, or flatpacks for DIY building (fEARfuls only on the latter two options, I assume). Link Removed

There may be others. But any of these would beats the pants off that TC212, or anything else you can buy in a store in terms of SPL per kg. They sound pretty darn good, too.

My mistake, assuming you're US based cos the site is... Sorry.

The Big twin is also 26Kg, not 35... I'm still getting used to how light the damn thing is. Its a one hand lift if you're big, an easy 2 hand into the back of my car, its lighter than one of my guitarists 1x12 combos...

If you can get to hear a Barefaced, do, and if you need something smaller than the twin, look at the Super 12, or even the Big Baby.

They really are remarkable cabs.
