Lightweight guitar cabs

There are a lot of surprisingly lightweight bass cab choices available now, but I have not seen a similar trend in guitar cab building.

Are there any guitar cab builders doing lightweight versions of the classic heavy guitar cabs (4x12, 6x12)?

I know of none, but it would be so much easier to DIY a guitar cab. Minimal bracing, no ports to worry with, size could be a ballpark estimate... etc. etc.

Sometime soon im going to build our guitarist a sealed 212 that will be ultralight other than the speakers i will be using (old USA british series Carvins). Im doing it extreme with 1/4" birch and fiberglass
