Linden EQ...what's it all about?

First it is a very nice boost. Second it uses the Ampeg version of the Baxandall passive tone stack as found in the classic B15 and other amps. The Baxandall circuit is very useful and broad range tool for shaping, this circuit is found in many amplifiers, sound consoles, mixing desks and hi-fi sets and is a building block many builders use. There are slight variations used by different manufacturers as explored by Ryan at Fuzzrocious with the Feed Me and Baxstabber pedals It can go in front or in back of your chain as a shaper and enhancer.

Now there's a useful answer to a question!
Thank you very much indeed!

I'm really thinking about putting my Linden (which I love), as well as my currently unused Bassist compressor and ST-200 tuner, into a Nano board for straight up band practice.
I'd go ST-200>Bassist>Linden>OD.
Since I use a class D solid state amp, I'm looking for an almost always OD which is capable of simulating light tube breakup. I don't need heavy gain, I use other pedals for that.
I'm really thinking about getting a Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop or a Solid Gold Beta V2.
I'm curious to hear how they both work in conjunction with the Linden and where you'd put them in your signal chain.
Thanks!

The Linden has made it into my live ampless rig. The thing is amazing along with the OCS Deluxe.

I'd be using it with the barbershop and am rather keen to try one.

Wanted one for a long long time (since the first gen when I saw a great local bassist play with one). Finally ordered this week, showed up today. Sounds great, very flexible. Also, very transparent when set to the most neutral settings. The “bright switch” (far right setting on the rightmost switch) sounds great but not trebly/thin. Definitely gonna to a lot of tweaking with it in the coming days.

For context, I play a Fender Road Worn 50’s P with flats, Aguilar AG700 into a DB112, and probably too many nerdy pedals as it stands but you bet this is going on there. Adding to my board today once I figure out the best place for it and gigging with it tomorrow!

If you’re not familiar with a Baxandall tone stack and what it does, there’s an excellent not too technical article you can find here.

Being I like picture books better... this is a great page for checking into the different
tone stacks as well...
ie..Looking at the Fender stack its easy to see how/why 0/10/0 is flat.
