Line 6 Relay G30...quick question

Got a question about the Line 6 Relay G30. What exactly is the "cable length" setting? Also does one setting give you an increased range or distance from transmitter to receiver? Any other info or experience with this unit is more than welcomed. Thanks.
I know there are other posts about the G30 but none really referred to the settings. Thanks again.

I just answered in the other thread;)

When using a cable, the signal running through the cable (tone) is affected - the longer the cable, the more it's affected. Having the switch in 15 or 30 ft just simulates that length of a cable. I just leave mine on 0.

Has nothing to do with the range of the unit.

I have used mine for one gig so far, and it worked flawlessly. Using it again tomorrow night.
