i have been looking at this little beast online but my local music store doesn"t have one. i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it and if it is as good and versitile as they say. like can you hook it to a sound board and get cab sound come out.

I owned it and used it for a few years as a practice amp and for small jams. It gets surprisingly loud for what it is and sounds pretty good, again for what it is. However, I ended up selling it as I found it to be a tad too dark for my taste, and I wanted something that handled the low B a bit better than it, although the line 6 110 does a relatively decent job at handling it.

+1 I also owned one for a short while, and for what it is, it's not bad. But, there are better options for a small practice combo, imo. The Ampeg BA112 being one.

I had one and found that I spend too much time fiddling with all the controls. I decided that I HAD to have an amp with a 15" speaker, so I got one. Then the neck on my only bass warped, so I sold the line 6 to get another bass. Kinda wish I would have been able to keep it. The guy I sold it to loves it. He already had one of their guitar amps.

Very good for a cheap 110 combo at the current eBay price of 199. There are better 110 combos, but none as light and inexpensive. If you want the best for that size, at an even lighter weight, the GB 3-10T shuttle combo is the best (but waaaay more $). BTW the synth settings are pretty useless. I wouldn't buy it for the onboard FX.

thanks. i think i'm just going to get a 2x10 cab and leave my 1x15 at the practice space and trans port the head.

Or if your 1x15 cab is 8ohms get another one just like it. Then you’d have the same sound at both locations plus you could stack them without problems if ever needed.
