Runnerman, I am like you. I move around a lot while I'm playing. I'm not wild or anything, but I do bop up and down while playing. I hate stepping on cords while I'm playing. So after a while the constant repetitive tension on the wireless cable where it connects to the jack gets damaged. I've had this happen to a Shure wireless and the Line 6 G50. Any replacement cable I've purchased has lasted me only about six months until I purchased what I'm using now.
I now purchase my replacement cables from Procables N Sound: www.greatcables.us It's the Premiere ICTA4 GS4 cable. They use Canare GS4 cable with a G&H right angle on one end and the TA4 plug on the other side. They also enclose both jacks and cable connections with shrink tubing. They are $33.00. I bought six of them seven months ago and have not needed the extra cables so far.
For added stability, I've secured my transmitter and the wireless cable to my guitar strap. So when the cable comes out of the wireless transmitter, the cable makes a U turn and is then secured to the guitar strap. Then it goes to my bass guitar jack. When I'm finished playing, I do release the cable from the transmitter so it does not get broken in the wireless jack during transit.
Hope this helps.
