Line6 GS50 woes

I have no idea if this is the right place to ask this, but I thought i'd try.

So my GS50 transmitter plastic input jack broke, and I have been trying to source a new metal one to replace it.

My google fu has yielded the following

Invalid Link Removed - Very nice support folk, but no longer available
Link Removed - paypal is broke
Line 6 50-02-5010,Line 6 Transmitters 4-Pin Input Jack (metal) - my spidey sense is screaming on this one and paypal is broke!

Anyone have any suggestions on how i can fix it? at this point, i'd even settle for replacing it with another plastic one...

While I support your DIY intentions and think it is a great idea, sometimes you need to say "screw it".

Expensive? Well yes, but a lot less headaches. Good luck on finding what you need.

i customized my G50 pack in just this way, rigging up a metal TA4 jack in there. it was a bitch, like open-heart surgery on a hampster.

they later redesigned that jack, so if you could get one from line 6 you should be in business. (the jack assembly snaps in separately, so it should go in easily)

It is a standard jack used by many manufacturers. Look up the cables as they often advertise works with "Line 6 G50/G90, Shure, LD, Rocket and Ashdown Freebass, ...)
Try looking up the other brand or electronic supply stores

I actually reached out directly to Line6 and they said they do still make that part and that full compass should be able to order it. I am going to give full compass a call on monday.

Bought another transmitter when my plastic one cratered because we are very busy and then the circuit board & skill to do it. Time and patience are short sometimes. BTW, our guitarist got a G55(square box receiver) that has the same transmitter but has a metal input jack, go figure. I've tried my receiver with his transmitter and it works.
