    Any experience with this amp?

I like the power of this 400 watt amp - but at the same time I like the tone of the Ashdown T15-250S

Any experience with any (or both) of these amps?

I'm not a fan of amp modelling. What it gives you, is alot of variety. However, it will NOT sound like the amp it's supposed to be modelling. Some people aren't bothered by that. Personal preference. But, in regards to power ratings, they mean absolutely nothing, if you don't have enough spkrs to produce the sound. ie: 400 watts to a single 15, or 210's, won't be as loud as 100 watts through bigger spkr cabs.

Thank you, I value your input.
I know some people have Ashdown as their one and only choice of amp, but I also hear people saying that the Line6 head (the same as in the mentioned combo) is way underrated.
The Ashdown has a 15", whereas the Line6 combo has 2x10".
    Anyway, thanks for your input

I have the Line6 LD400 Pro and I just upgraded the 2 10s to Eminence Professional series 10s which handle 500 Watts each. The amp now sounds so much clearer and each note from my 6 string from the low B to the highest C is so clear I would suggest anyone who has this Amp to upgrade the speakers to high efficiencies. I stayed with the same brand that comes with the combo but you can go with JBLs or something.

I had the 400 pro, it's a versatile amp for tones, but the speakers do struggle at louder volumes, even with an extension cab.

I'm a fan of modelling, and have the Bass pod rack now.

The 400 pro is a very useful package, but as quoted above, changing the speakers will help at volume.
