Also, you should all buy his CD "It's Better This Way." My favorite track is "20 Years Too Late".

Trip is just amazing. I've been admiring (with awe) his work for a while, now. He's able to do things on the bass I couldn't dream of. Glad you found him!

    Great advice!

Saw him live last Thursday night and I've been listening to "It's Better This Way" since.

Amazing player and a great guy.

That's awesome! Very refreshing to solo bass(excellent technique) and great vocals! I came over to bass from guitar. I was burned out on the singer/songwriter thing - about 5 gazillion "Dave Matthews" out there(don't get me wrong, I like DMB alot - just a tired thing for me). This is something cool and unique - thanks for sharing! :)
  6. got to chime in here.

Trip's not only a monster player and a great guy, but he's one of the coolest cats with whom you can share a stage. we've done a handful of duo shows and each one is better than the one before.

more power to the wacky man from Lake Charles!
  7. sorry?

    No, seriously.

If you've never heard Trip Wamsley, do yourself a favor and check this out.

I think he's on the bill for the upcoming California Bass Quake.
