Double Bass little and lightweight active speaker suggestions

Hello,
I would like to have a small and lightweight active speaker with an 8" speaker (maximum 10") to use together with my Headway EDB 2HE and to use in small venues (small club...), with little space and where we want not much volume more than that of the acoustic double bass. For larger stages I have a GR Bass Cube Acoustic that I like. Do you have any suggestions?

Not cheap but the Barefaced 10t would be worth a look. I use the passive version with a Warwick Gnome, it's excellent for upright and can get surprisingly loud.

I use two custom bass loudspeakers, built by Mike Arnopol, with composite cabs.

One is a 1x8, the other is a 2x8+tweeter. The 1x8 weighs about 9 pounds, and the 2x8 about 20 Pounds. I carry the 1x8 in a padded Meinl Cajon bag, along with my amp and cables. The 2x8 fits in its own Meinl Cajon bag. Easy carry.

They are both equipped with pole-mounting sockets. Sometimes, I use them on the floor, sometimes elevated. Sometimes singly, sometimes both together.

I like the sound of these cabs; the first I've had whose sound I'd describe as My Bass Only Louder. They can play surprisingly loud, especially when a VHPF is used.

Although Mike is no longer making them, I believe others may be making Crazy8 and Crazy88 cabs for sale, although the cabinets might be plywood instead of composite material.

I have used a Headrush FRFR108 on 50 or more gigs, I am using a Tonedexter as a preamp to drive it. I recently bought a QSC CP8 which weighs the same and supposedly has half the power (1000W compared to 2000 for the Headrush). I have been very happy with the FRFR108. The CP8 just sounds so much more clear and I can really hear a lot more woodiness and less bass mushiness. The QSC cost me almost 3x the HR, but the HR does go up to 11 :)

Using a Realist or Fishman Full Circle with the EDB-2 H.E., Into a QSC K8 (500 watts) produced mixed results for me. The Headway doesn’t have the headroom that my Grace Felix does, so it can “run out of gas” Just my take of course results may vary.

Addendum: The newer QSC K 8.2 are technically “double the power” of my K8, so those might be idea but I have no direct experience with them.

When I saw David Friesen recently, he had a tiny little round cab, which I think was passive and powered by an acoustic image amp. It might have been a Bose, not sure, but it was small. He put it on the floor in the middle of his trio. It was plenty for the small room with drums and tenor sax.

The QSC CP8 is a less expensive version of the OSC K8.2 with 1,000 watts peak power divided between the 8” Driver and the 1.4” compression driver. The K8.2 is 2,000. watt peak and costs significantly more money. The Alto is 350 watts (peak?) and is the least expensive of the three. The frequency response for the K8.2 is 59 hz to 20 kHz CP8 53 hz to 20 kHz ( interesting) Alto 75 hz to 20 kHz.

That is an Acoustic Image Upshot cab. It is not active though.
