Live from Daryl's House

Pretty obvious that the funds are there to make a show of this quality. Don't fool yourselves in thinking that you are hearing the live sound, lots of editing, processing and mastering is done to the final product. Watched them all and some many times, the format is winner. DH is a smart and talented man.

When is it usually on? I never remember what time slot it's in, and so I usually stumble across the last 10 minutes of an episode when I'm absent-mindedly channel surfing late at night. But if I knew when it was on I'd probably make a point of watching it religiously, because it really is a well-done show.
All the shows are available on the LFDH site, just go to the archive : http://www.livefromdarylshouse.com/archive.html

I used to watch this show way back in the day when the show was still new. It blew my socks off! DH is one heck of a genius to come up with such a concept. Last time i checked the website some videos of past guests were gone (Smokey Robinson, Todd Rundgren, Rob Thomas, Diane Birch, etc.) I wonder why those clips just got dropped?

Lots of clips of those artists with LFDH are on Youtube if you search.

You need to watch the episode with Train and DH's band doing "I can't Go For That". The band is supreme and even the old Hall & Oats hits sound fresh and contemporary. DH's voice is incomparable.

Also with Mayer Hawthorne.

T-Bone's death was an incredible loss to the world of music. One of my fav. BP's.
