Live "Victor Wooten Band"

Just curious if anyone has seen "The Victor Wooten Band" live. I have tickets for this Friday. (April 20th) Besides seeing one of the best bassist in the world. Who all else is touring with him. I am very excited to seeing him live. Thanks

I saw them last night. In the band besides Victor was his brother on guitar (very good), keyboard, drums aand a lady also sung some. They also had another bass player also. They did a lot of new stuff. Pretty good.

Hey Steve, how crowded was Legend's for Vic's show?
I traveled there the night before to see Gov't Mule and saw the Victor poster. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay another night.

This was my firsyt trip to Legends and the floor was about 80 percent full standing room. Plus all the tables were full. I seen wewre Govt mule was there. I say it was a good show also.

Besides performing locally he is teaching as the venue describes it:

The Music Lesson Workshop: a special afternoon workshop with Victor Wooten is open to all. Based on Victor's book The Music Lesson: A spiritual search for growth through Music. The Music Lesson contains many of the lessons, ideas, and “ways of thinking” Victor has become known for.

The venue where this is going to happen is tiny and there surely won't be many attendees for either. The date is Monday April the 30th.

He had a workshop yesterday also. I did not know about it untill it was too late. It was for 2 hours. That would have been great.

One thing that suprised me somewhat was he played a 4 string all night. Nearly all songs were new. His first song he played with a slide. That was impressive of course all of his playing is impressive.

Yes he said MC Divinity was touring with Beyonce. The other bassist was Anthony Wittington or Worthington something like that. I had heard of him. Check to see if there is a clinic. I missed it but he has been doing them on the same day of his concerts. Fridys was at 11 AM till 1 PM.

The afternoon clinic is at The Mobius and tickets are inexpensive, $8 or $5 for students. The Mobius can hold 180 people without chairs or 90 with chairs.
