Tenesss Mafia Jug Band. Lady called me Thursday, desperate. They had booked the TMJB to play for a hometown festival on Saturday nite, but the band informed her they could not bring an upright because they were flying in, and she had no idea where to rent one or get a loaner. She found out from a friend that I had one, so I accomodated her. Could have charged something I guess, but what the heck? Cost me about $30 in gas for two trips there and back, but we got two free admissions and everyone was happy. I'm really not into their music, as much as I love bluegrass, but they're real nice guys and appreciated the help. They say no good deed goes unpunished, so we'll see.
