It might be helpful to know what make / model amp you have. The options for retrofit are better for some than others... The first thing that comes to mind, IF the amp has a fixed power cable, run a small luggage type padlock through the hole in the fat blade. It will keep the amp from getting plugged in, or at least be dead obvious when someone tampers with it.
IF you are that concerned with someone tampering with your amp, or really any location, you might want to give serious consideration into whether or not storing your gear out of your control is a good idea.
