Logic questions

So we're setting up to record our band practice in logic. Gonna create a template once we have all the ins/outs figured out so I can just open it and we can hit record and forget til we're done

My question is about the project tempo. Do I need to do anything with the tempo up top. We obviously will be changing tempos per song and I don't want logic to warp anything. Anyone have any insight?

"Logic is a beautiful flower - that smells bad!!" Mr. Spock

(Sorry, lame pop culture reference, I can't help you here, just being a jerk.) :p

"Keep"/"Keep Project Tempo" should retain the tempo you've recorded without modification. As far as I can tell that's the default behavior.

You can change the Flex & Follow defaults to disable Smart Tempo analysis. Getting to them is a little non-obvious but if you go to the "Help" menu and type in "smart tempo project" it'll display the menu option and a link to the "Smart Tempo project settings" documentation.
