Lollar V string Jazz pickups vs Nordstrand NJ5FS

Has anyone A/B'd, compared/reviewed these two sets of V string Jazz Bass pickups? The Lollar V string Jazz pups and the Nordstrand NJ5FS set(s). If so, What are the pros and cons of each set? and Which one overall all is the better sounding Jazz Bass pickup in terms of bottom end, warmth, punchiness, growl, clarity, value etc.. I play mostly fingerstyle and slap, R&B, Funk, Rock, Soul and some (very little these days) Metal (No pick playing at all); AND, Is there a NON- BOUTIQUE Jazz Bass set (Fender, 'Duncan's, Dimarzio's etc.) that can "hang"/compete with the Lollars or the Nordstrands? BTW, all the Aguilar J Bass pickups (that I've heard) SEEM to be "lacking" in bottom end in comparison to both the Nordstrand(s) and the Lollar(s). If it matters(FWIW) I'm going through a Gallien Krueger Fusion 550 head with a GK RBH115 cab along with a 2x10 on top.

I've tried both of their single coils in a 4-string FWIW. My take was that the Nordstrand was slightly "refined" while the Lollar was more "rowdy". No bad options here; I just seem to be more of a Lollar kind of guy. (I do a wide variety - I look for a neck pickup I can rock out on all night and a bridge that blends in well for pick definition or modern "scoop".)
The only 5-string single coil J I've tried thus far was a set of Sadowskys. I like those enough, I would use them again.
Hope this helps; the YMMV factor will always make it a bit of a crapshoot.
