long flowing slap bass licks

i just dont how it is done but i often hear guys like wooten do it. these are long fast slap licks like triplets or 16th notes which go for whole measure!

now i am not talking about "machine gun lick" thing (open-L.H-slap-pop) , those sound really jerky... but rather something as quick but longer.

example: check 2:28 here or anything similar to it
so anyone gets what am talking about? can anyone show me some examples and explain how it is done?

search for his double thumb (thump?) technique, I think that's what you're talking about . . . he hits the string twice with his thumb (down then up) then picks with index then middle finger.

no i dont think this is double thump at all, yeah vic does it a lot but i have seen a lot of other guys do it who do not play double thump. like you can find similar licks in the slap part here too
