I own the same model- don't pull it put often enough. I had one new in college in '72. Great sounding bass, hard to gig with though- weighs a ton. I had an Ampeg Dan Armstrong back then I'd sure like to find. If anybody knows of one for sale please let me know.

Of all the things I've ever done, selling my old Spector (NS-2A)back when I first moved to Washington State qualifies as my stupidest moment.

That is a great story ! I traded a '65 Hofner way back in 76's for a Ibanez Destroyer........................fool ! I Tracked it through two owners and bought it back in'88 and I still have it ! Still have the Destroyer to !

Great story! I just missed out on re-acquiring my first bass ('87 P-Bass Lyte given to me by my grandmother) by about two days on the local CL. This was six years after I had sold it. Two weeks ago I picked up a dead ringer off of the 'Bay. Only thing not letting me believe it's THE one is that I have no record of the serial number. Someday........

I only said that cos that's what the guy my parents bought from used it for (a polka band) putting this nasty rash on the back in the process.
The dark spot, the 2 light ones are new. I knew it was mine once I saw the rash - it's unmistakeable, but now the laquer has started to peel on the back of the neck at the 12th-15th frets.

The carpet was blue/gray, old camera, scan, it was the late 80's...etc.

I think it's great you got it back but you should play it, not just hang it on a wall. yeah, it's heavy but those Triumphs sound really nice and are quite versatile. spend some time playing it and you may decide to keep it in the rotation. I've found it's too heavy to play all night long, but it's fine for an hour or so. I love mine.
