I’m a long-time lurker of the forum and decided to finally create an account.
I’ve been playing bass guitar for over 25 years and currently hold down the low end for a Funk, R&B, Soul and (gasp) Disco cover band. My main weapon of choice is an EBMM StingRay 40th anniversary Old Smoothie which I play through a Fender Bassman 500 with two 4x10 neo cabs. Lots of outdoor gigs happening now for us and, while I’m not enjoying the heat, I am really enjoying playing for so many receptive crowds.
