Yep. I'm a fan of the series as well as LWA and LWD. I can suspend reality enough to enjoy it for what it is.
They seem to be doing well enough on the Livewire prototypes - recognizing that they have a good deal of assistance along the way. Scenery is awesome.
Yeah, the support team is WAY more involved than they'd like you to believe. And like with the other series, it wouldn't surprise me if they loaded the bikes on that sprinter for some of the stretches.
But yeah, it's a fun show. Like you said, the scenery is incredible, it's always nice to see how less-traveled pockets of the world operate and the cast is likable. I'll keep watching.![]()

Do you watch Top Gear/The Grand Tour at all? They’ve got a handful of specials filmed in South America that are a good watch. The Argentina special was particularly entertaining! They started in Ushuaia as well (and barely made it out of Argentina unscathed).
I loved the first two series (LWR and LWD), in fact they're what inspired me (among many others I'm sure) to buy a BMW GS. But this series is leaving me a bit flat for some reason. I watched the first 2 or 3 episodes and don't feel in any hurry to watch the rest.
I do. Top Gear/Grand Tour guys are more about the comedy... which is great. But I get the impression they're "roughing it" waaaaaaaaaay less than Ewan and Charley.
No wonder Jeremy throttled that PA when the craft services table wasn't ready!![]()
