Good morning TalkBass! I just wanted to give a quick introduction on myself. I have been lurking forever and have been playing since 2002 or so. I took a long break from bass back in 2010 when I stupidly sold my gear in college. I switched to guitar as my main and also played that off and on but decided I would rather play bass again
I’m a punk fan at heart so I got a lot of my inspiration from Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 and Mike Dirnt from Green Day. They got me to pick the bass up and get better. Other influences are Chris Wolstenholme from Muse, Duff from GnR and so on.
Happy to finally contribute and looking forward to learning a lot!
