Hi.
Quite affordable though at AU$99?
Even if we can be almost 100% certain that these are just another rebrand of the big tube factories in China?
Is it just me or does the "hand selected" make you imagine an employee, standing by a large cardboard box filled with tubes, suffling through the box and picking 'em totally random.
If they are covered with warranty, I'd test a few.

I take special care not to select RoHS compliant parts as I live in the
UK on the east coast and its quite cold at the moment and anything I can do for global warming is a big saving on heating.
Give me reel of lead solder and a bag of good old fashioned highly poisonus opto electronic chips, I am trying to make a compressor here.

Behringer/Bugera did buy a tube factory. They are making their own tubes. It's capitalism, if there's demand they'll follow.

Well, how many other outfits can you name that do nothing but screen raw stock and add markup?
Raw stock tends to have a surprisingly high percentage of junk tubes, so someone needs to do it, preferably not me at my own expense.

Let's hope they do a better job of screening the tubes than they do their other gear.
Funny that they call 6L6GC's and 5881's pentodes, too. Seems to be going around.

I'm interested in the quality of their tube amps. Stick some JJ 6L6GC's and 12ax7's in the 6260 (the Peavey 6505 knock off) and see how it screams.
Who knows, for $550 brand new, it could be good.

I have played a couple of them and liked them.
The first one I played is a MESA copy and the other one was a Peavy copy. I looked at them online in guitar forums and there seems to be mixed reviews.
I think most of the negativity comes from being made overseas so of course no body wants to give them a chance.
They are merely buying tubes from the same scources as everybody else and relabeling them with their brand. Just like Mesa Boogie sells tubes with their brand name on it, they don't actually manufacture tubes, but buy them from scources they choose to do buisness with. The same goes for Groove Tubes now owned by Fender, as well as Ruby Tubes. It's up to you the consumer to decide if any company does a better job of supposedly screening out the bad ones in the bulk shipments they buy, and selecting only the best ones to be sold to you.
