looking for a bit of advice, a d and g strings quieter than e string

when playing my bass through my amp, my E string is nice and loud, the A D and G string are all very quiet, no matter how much i fiddle with the EQ, any advice would be much appreciated as its starting to really annoy me

I have to do the "Righty Tighty" thing so would let a tech handle this for me.

Assuming the bass is otherwise set up correctly, I would also suspect the pickup height.

A compressor might possibly help as well...
