Looking for a good affordable Flanger.

What would you guys suggest as far as a good affordable Flanger goes?

A few months ago, I bought a DOD Bass Stereo Flanger (FX72) for $30 and it sounds great. There's usually a few listed on Ebay in the $20-$30 range.

I also got a DOD Bass Stereo Flanger off eBay. Sounds great. Very warm. The Boss BF-2 can be had on eBay for about $40 as well.

I use a mxr micro flanger and it sounds excellent to my ears.

TUEP, most guitar pedals will work ok on bass. People love the bf-2 around here. I prefer the bf-3, which has a bass-specific input. It also has a slight volume boost that annoys some people.

Lots of options though.

I have an Electro Harmonix Neo Mistress and while the effect is really, really nice sounding to my ears I can't really recommend it because it is very noisy. It's totally a love/hate relationship with this pedal! Just thought I would chime in with something to maybe avoid. Not sure what the price is on it but I found one in mint condition used.

Although this may be true. The EHX Stereo Electric Mistress is a pretty darn good flanger for cheap with the added bonus of the chorus effect. Works great with bass. No noise issues whatsoever.

MXR F-117. Classic and tweakable. But... There is no blend control! I like it most in dirt, but in clean sometimes is acceptable.

I felt the same about this. Great flanger effect, but the noise is totally unbearable.

I've heard the 3 is great for bass too, and some do prefer it to the 2. I've never tried it myself though. The 2 does exactly what I want...JCs flanger tone.

I own a danelectro fab flange. It sound great on bass. Also this flanger pedal has the most deepest resonance I ever heard on a flanger pedal. I wish danelectro would make a cool cat edition of this pedal because the cool cat series of pedals are cased in metal.
