The tuningi am In is c# looking a good modern day pop punk alternative sound

try this:
RBI into effects return of amp (so it’s basically just being used as a power amp), RBI blend at 100%, drive down to like 9:00-10:00, EQ to taste.

that should give you a nice clear but aggressive pop-punk tone, especially from a P bass with a pick.
