- John Bonham's shuffle groove, which inspired Jeff Porcaro to create his drum part for "Rosanna".

- John Paul Jones' attempt at Salsa!

Great song, but you'd be asking your drummer a heck of a lot to cover this well. I hope he's damn good

Agree. I specially like the live version's bassline (from "The Song Remains The Same").

Maybe "Good Times Bad Times" isn't an obscure song, but it isn't as "famous" as "Stairway To Heaven" or "Whole Lotta Love". "Achilles' Last Stand" (already mentioned) is another great option.

+1 to "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do". It's obscure -- was originally found only as the B-side to the "Immigrant Song" single. But it's very tuneful, and somewhat easy to play.

I feel your pain trying to pick just three. Our band decided we were going to learn a few Led Zep tunes and we didn't stop until we'd learned 10. I'm partial to "Ramble On" and "What Is And What Should Never Be" because of the tasty bass lines.
