Anyone else suffering the recessional blues?

Currently job hunting in west sussex to little avail. I'm useless on telephones at the best at times, nevermind when I'm nervous

The news this morning reported another 465,000 reduction in payroll here in the US for June so my guess is there are quite a few "suffering the recessional blues". Good luck in your job search.

Summer job, and heading into university at the end of the summer. Seriously...mention the word "...student..." they immediately, and did in two cases, want to put the phone down.

Sorry, miserable threads are the worst but it just seems bloody infuriating seeing some of the folks my age free-wheeling through summer with a secure university placement.

I hear you. I graduated from Edinburgh Uni 2 years ago and I work at a cinema selling hot dogs. But, I have had 6 months worth of awesome voluntary work and just got back from a wicked 1 week UK top to bottom tour with my band.
